Put the oil in a large pot and when it is heated add the finely chopped onion, let it cook, a little later add the grated carrots, let it cook together then add the donuts, finely chopped kapia, mix and let it boil at small fire, stirring occasionally.
When everything is almost cooked, add the washed rice, tomato paste, salt, peppercorns and bay leaves to taste, mix and let it boil until the oil rises to the surface and the rice is cooked.
